Even Though They had the right workout plan and nutritional info, they weren’t necessarily following the plan as they were busy, tired and stressed…

What was even worse though is that I started being very busy, wasn’t sleeping properly, started eating quick sandwiches from Tesco and started getting out of breath and feeling my health going down.

I joined an army of people pushing on professionally but slipping of with shape & fitness even though I knew what to do. The gravity of life in The City started to take me away from who I wanted to be in my personal life.

This Is What It Must Feel Like When You Lose Control... A part of how I saw myself, part of my psychological make up, my own perception, other peoples perception of me, my standards of getting my way, feeling comfortable with myself, having confidence in my physical body and health all started to erode...

The problem was that I was working 14 hour days, trained 4-5 times a week but didn’t eat right, didn’t sleep right – which is why I started drinking energy drinks, eat sugar, I also wanted social life so I would say yes to beers and all this started to reflect on me. I started to breathe heavier, getting heart palpitations, and started rounding in my face which I hate. The brutal point was March 2018, don’t know if it was partying, or because I had started 4 businesses or stress of other life events...

I spoke with another busy PT and my clients and they just said: “Well, that’s just the way it is, isn’t it.” But I didn’t want to accept it and it pissed me off that I would have to pretty much sell out. Sell myself out and accept something I didn’t want. I wouldn’t give up on professional either. And it felt justified back then which was even worse. I just couldn’t accept it. So, I kned how human body works, I know what the challenges are now as well, I knew I could make it work together, so I decided to go for it. After I changed my training and eating strategy, I lost 7kg in 2 months. That’s when I realised the secret to getting and being in shape in The City of London was understanding this process applied to City lifestyle which I now call 5%.

My plan was to start giving other clients the same tools that I used to help me overcome The City obstacles to increase their chances of getting their breakthrough. I created a toolbox and talked about these things with my clients along the way.

The 5% strategy and toolbox would only become reality for a new client coming in already in a good frame of mind and if they could see their 5% results within 6-12 weeks. I could only work with 20 people. I had to make sure to use the best coaching strategies available to keep them accountable and give them confidence in the system and the impact this had on The City as a whole was so minimum.

Now when you think about the whole deal, it very much feels like he must have spent a fortune on it. I mean how much money would you actually have to pay to buy an island? Tens of millions of pounds potentially?

Here’s what Richard Branson says about his island on his blog:

“On one Thursday in 1978, I was told that there were some British Virgin Islands out there and that I could potentially own one so I decided to ring the agent. We were still in the early days of Virgin Records, and I by no means I had the cash to buy an island. But luckily, the agent didn’t know this and offered me an all expenses paid trip to see the Islands that weekend. I agreed to go on one condition - if I could bring a guest - girl I was with at the time.”

“The agent was asking for $6 million for the 74-acre Caribbean island, and I only had a fraction of that. But keen to impress my new love, I offered the highest amount I could afford: $100,000. As you can imagine, the agent was less than impressed and left us high and dry to find our own way back home.

One year later, however, the owner of the Necker Island still hadn’t received an offer and was “desperate to sell”. Virgin Records was in a much better position than it had been a year before, so I quickly agreed to a purchase price of $180,000 and got the island. That’s about a 97 percent discount from the original asking price.”

“The agent was asking for $6 million for the 74-acre Caribbean island, and I only had a fraction of that. But keen to impress my new love, I offered the highest amount I could afford: $100,000. As you can imagine, the agent was less than impressed and left us high and dry to find our own way back home.

He bought it with 97% less money, then the actual asking price!! Would you believe that?

Where we thought he needed $6M to get the island, in reality he got it for $180k. So here’s the deal: While you might think getting in shape can likely cost you $6M in effort, time and discomfort, similar discounts exist in the world of getting in shape as well. Right now, I’ve got an opportunity that could get you your Necker Island for $180k so to speak. Where you thought you needed to get up at 0500am to workout two hours a day resembling a military novice and only eat steamed chicken and broccoli, in reality you can get rid of your beer belly and have the cake at the same with a cream and cherry on top.

  • Can I Do This With Injuries And Movement Limitations?

    90% of the time yes. If in doubt, we’re able to advise when you talk to us. The programme is built around your injuries and limitations.
